Why Agates?

As a child, I was always fascinated with rocks. In 2018, while living on the Oregon Coast with my in-laws, I became especially captivated by agate hunting. One of my patients would take me to the beach during King Tide season to search the best rock piles, wading into the waves to hunt for these glowing, translucent treasures. Not only do agates naturally glow when held to a light source, but they’re also one of the twelve sacred stones in the high priest’s ephod and part of the foundation of the New Jerusalem described in the book of Revelation. These glowing stones are the perfect choice for the Blaze lampstand design!
